READERS MARKETPLACE
Free Online Classified Advertising!
QUICK START: The following instructions may only be needed if you find yourself unsure of something. Once you visit and complete the 'reader verification' process, entering your FREE classfied/s is a straight forward exercise. Please keep in mind that this offer only applies to classifieds being placed into the "Readers Marketplace" category and any of its subcategories. When completing the details for your classified listing, the following will only appear in your listing if they have been filled in. Contact Name, Web Site, Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax Number . The only compulsory fields are "Title of Listing" and the "Description". Everything else is optional. Ultimately, we reserve the right to reject any listing deemed unsuitable for whatever reason.
Instructions on how to place your FREE classified listings:
Step 1. You need to 'verify' that you are one of our readers by visiting the 'reader verification' page.
Step 2. Once you are verified, you then need to click on the "Readers Marketplace" category and navigate down to the sub-category into which you wish to place your FREE classified Ad. Once you've reached the category where you'd like to place your FREE classified, you simply click on the "Add Listing" located in the top menu bar. See step 3 on what to select.
NOTE: Before we go onto Step 3, you will need to Login as a member if you haven't already done so, or if you're not already a member you will need to register as a member. WHY! The only reason you need to do this is so that our "Private Messaging" system can pass on messages between members without either party having to divulge any personal information until they feel comfortable in dealing with the other person. To become a member takes about 20 seconds and is instantly approved so you can procced immediately .
Step 3. You then need to click on the "Readers Marketplace - FREE Classifieds" option from the payment plan options - this should be right at the top of the list presented.
Step 4. After clicking on the "Readers Marketplace - FREE Classifieds" you'll be presented with a screen into which you place the details to appear in your classified. The following details are optional and will only appear in your listing if you enter a value for any of them. If you don't want any of these details to be shown in your listing, then you must leave them blank: Contact Name, Web Site, Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax Number .
Step 5. You may also upload an image to be associated with your classified advertisement.

About this special 'Readers Only" Offer: As a reader of our magazines, you are permitted to place FREE online classified advertising within the “Readers Marketplace” category of our directory (www.byob.com.au). Not only can you use this facility to buy and sell a wide selection of items and services from other readers, but you can also post “Wanted Ads”.

For example, lets say you’re looking for an opportunity to work from home. You could post a “Wanted Ad” under the “Work From Home” category where you specify exactly what you’re looking for. You might indicate that you only have 4 hours a day to spare and that you don’t want anything to do with certain industries. You could also indicate the type of investement you’re prepared to make etc.

Once you’ve posted your classifieds, the only way anyone can contact you is via the “Private Messaging” system which we provide as part of the facility (unless you've elected to include other forms of contact such as phone or fax etc.) This then protects your privacy and prevents any unwanted SPAM.

Once your requirements have been met, you can simply delete the classified advertisement and that will end any further communications. As mentiona already, if you desire, you can place other contact details within your classifieds, but that’ll be your decision as to what these might be.
