| Are YOU an Emerging Champion?
|
To achieve your dreams, you may have to put out a different level of effort -- whether at your own company, or in your profession or work. Living your dreams is a reward for the value you deliver! So, if you want more, you must obviously deliver more!
In terms of life success, there are really only four basic levels of accomplishment:
First is the class of the current winners -ˆ those who have figured out what they what they want, and are taking focused action to attain their goals. Then on the far end of the "success measuring stick" is the class of non-players ˆ- those who have yet even come close to realizing their own potential.
But in between are two very interesting levels: One is the class of emerging winners ˆ- those who have grabbed onto a goal, and are beginning to take focused action to shape their own lives.
The other is the class of potential winners -- those whose beliefs are not yet in total alignment with success. They may have hit a tough bump in the road that knocked them off-course, or perhaps just need an adjustment to their self-concept.
Where Do You Place Yourself? You already know if you are an emerging winner. You can feel the fire and excitement of pursuing what you want. And you know that the only thing that can stop you is your own beliefs.
Now the p otential winners are also easily identifiable. They are always searching. They read self-help books, attend motivational seminars, and listen to inspirational tapes -- believing sooner or later they will figure out how to create the life they desire. They realize they have untapped potential, but just may have not yet discovered how to convert their beliefs into actions!
How to Become an Emerging Winner Are you a potential winner? Your transition from being a potential winner to an emerging winner is along the path of action.
The most empowering thing to do is this: Break out of your comfort zone, and take action to move your life to the next level of accomplishment.
Are you a Non-Player? Do you think you're a non-player? I doubt that's true, since you would never have been attracted to this article if that were true. If you have a deep sense of restlessness, you're likely on the path to change and personal empowerment. That‚s how it all starts for one in process of becoming a potential winner.
Something inside knows there are possibilities out there, and is encouraging you to reach out and claim more of your potential.
Actually this is a very good sign it's time to move up into the class of the potential winners -- time to go to work and manifest more of who you can become. Go for it.
Action Points (1) Think about which of these achievement classes you fall in to, and what that means to you. Consider what you need to do to take your place as an emerging leader. How can you get started immediately?

| Complementary marketing - A key plank in growing your business |
|
Complementary marketing - A key plank in growing your business

Many small businesses spend a significant chunk of their profits on advertising.

For many types of businesses, this advertising is essential as it is the main way
to reach their customers. However, for many other businesses, effective results can also
be obtained through forming partnerships with complementary businesses.

This can be termed "complementary marketing".

Let's use a florist as an example. Flowers are a feature of many occasions, such as
weddings. The thing about weddings is that they require the services of
businesses in a range of industries, such as formal hire and dress making businesses,
reception venues, limousine hire businesses, caterers, photographers and printers. Each
of these businesses is competing to offer their services for any given wedding.

Rather than solely relying on advertising to attract customers, however, these businesses
can partner with other, non-competing, businesses in the wedding "food chain" to refer
potential customers towards each other. The customer might find the first business (say,
a photographer) through an advertisement, but then that photographer would tell the customer
"I know of a good florist and a good limo company which specialise in weddings" and then pass
on those businesses brochures.

The effectiveness of complementary marketing depends on a lot of factors.
For example, the relative timing of the goods or services required -
such as where a wedding florist, photographer and limo are sought at the same time - makes a difference. Also, the larger the number of complementary
businesses involved in a particular event - where customer fatigue can set in,
as with weddings - increases its effectiveness.

It should also be stressed that complementary marketing needs to be in addition to,
not a replacement for, advertising. The customer would generally find the first
business through advertising and, where timing is fairly synchronised (ie. the
customer would look for a florist, limo and photographer at the same time), no business
can solely rely on their complementary marketing partner being approached first.

Using our imaginations, there are a large number of other situations where
complementary marketing would be beneficial for the businesses involved.
John Blanchette is the founder of INTEPRISE, a small business consultancy firm. | Promoting your Networking Business
|
I have set my own totally free training site up to show you as many different places as possible where you can promote any opportunity you are involved with. I will keep adding to the list and I will be constantly updating the site with training and motivational links that will help you develop personally to a position where building your home based business will become second nature.
Please use as many promotional sites as you can, remember branding yourself is everything and the more you are noticed, the more your business and reputation will develop.
Be consistant in your efforts and always be positive in your outlook. No matter what opportunity you are promoting, as long as the company, the product and the compensation plan is good then you have a good chance of making it as long as you stay with them and don't jump from one opportunity to the next. This will just doom you to failure. Listen to the audio trainings read the e-books and stay focused. They are all free, highly instructive and motivational.

| Top 5 Reasons Why You Need To Use Article Marketing
|
Whether you run a business totally online, or you operate a
brick-and-mortar business and have a supplemental website, you need to
implement article marketing. If you aren't marketing your business with
articles, you're missing a huge chunk of the marketing pie. Let me give
you a few reasons why.
Reason
#1: Article marketing is free. Every business owner knows that
advertising isn't cheap. Every newspaper or magazine ad you run costs
you dearly. By spending just a little extra time writing and submitting
several articles each month, you'll save quite a bit of money. Best
yet, article marketing doesn't cost you a dime--just a few hours every
week.
Reason #2: Article marketing brands your business. Have
you ever wondered how some businesses seem to become so well known in
such a short amount of time? They're getting their name out there.
They're giving away something of value for free to their potential
customers. Your articles will brand your business and make it a
well-known name.
Reason #3: Article marketing makes you an
expert. If you write articles about the subjects you know well, you'll
quickly become known as an expert in your field. Do you run a website
on bird watching? Writing and submitting fifty articles on bird
watching will show people that you know what you're talking about.
Reason
#4: Article marketing teaches you how to relate to people. You can't
write a bunch of articles without learning how to communicate
effectively. The more you write, the more you'll learn how to get your
message across in a friendly, personal tone.
Reason #5: Article
marketing creates back links to your website. Without getting into the
technical details of this, back links to your website are good and
you'll want lots of them. Back links help boost your rankings in the
search engines, thus gaining more exposure for your website.
Remember
that article marketing isn't the cure-all answer to advertising your
business; it's one piece of the pie. You also can't submit a handful of
articles one time and expect to see results.
Article marketing
requires persistence and patience. You should plan to spend a certain
number of hours each week writing and submitting articles to promote
your business. Pencil in this time faithfully and stick to it. Within a
few months (maybe even a few short weeks!), you'll begin to see the
results of your hard work pay off.
