Welcome to the first issue of which I hope becomes as popular as our existing publication, "Australian Business & Money Making Opportunities". In fact, it has been our existing readership that has inspired us to forge ahead and produce a totally new magazine. Without their constant feedback over the past eight years, I'm certainly convinced we would never have even considered such a project. I also need to thank our advertisers and contributors who have demonstrated an overwhelming response to this project. As a "Small Business" operator myself, I know how hard it can be to achieve certain goals without first knowing where to start. The purpose of "Small Business & Home-Based INCOME" magazine, is to provide information that can be readily used in virtually any business. Over the years, I've had both the pleasure and honour of having dealt with some of Australia's most successful small business operators. They have shared their secrets, if you could call them secrets, and also their insight into what makes a successful business tick. It's from these encounters that have helped set the theme for this publication.While I have a good idea of the type of material which would be of the most value, I still need constant feedback from our readers (that's you) to make sure we don't lose the plot. It's all too easy to make assumptions only to find out later, when it's too late, that the assumption was wrong. As you browse though the magazine, you will be invited to submit your thoughts and ideas for future issues. As the magazine is for you, it's well worth your time to actively participate in someway.
